John Hodgman, also known as the PC in the “I’m a Mac” ads, spoke at the Radio and Television Correspondents Association Dinner about nerds, Trekkies, and said, “(President Obama) is apparently addicted to his named brand smart phone that I shall not name for contractual reason.”
He also dubbed him a “First nerd President of the modern era”.
I have loved Boston.com’s The Big picture. Today I found Gopal Chitrakar’s picture and would like to share.

Overall, an awesome video/teaser from the part of Nepal, where I have never been to. One thing I found new about Nepal in this video is that, there is a Starbucks in Lukla!(33:41) Cool huh.
Facebook will soon introduce vanity URLs. My current Facebook URL is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=536611373. This is somewhat if not totally not practical, and hard to share. Now with the vanity URLs it will be easier, to share and remember anybody’s Facebook name.
Starting on Friday, June 12th, at 9:01pm, I’ll be able to choose a username for my Facebook account to easily direct friends, family, and coworkers to my profile.
Facebook had to do this, like on twitter I had to chose one at signup. Google recently, about a month ago, allowed a public profile. For crying out loud, even photoshop.com gives me URL with my chosen name on it.
Where am I?
